Lukáš is a laureate of many international competitions such as EPTA 2002, Agropolli 2003, Karl Drechsel Förderpreis 2007, Beethoven's Hradec 2007, International Rotary Piano Competition 2012, and Darmstadt Chopin International Wettbewerb 2013. In 2014, with the Lobkowicz Trio, he won his first prize at the Johannes Brahms International Competition in Portschach, Austria. He performs with leading Czech orchestras, for example, Pardubice Chamber Philharmonic, Hradec Králové Philharmonic, Bohuslav Martinů Zlín Philharmonic, Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Barocco Semper Giovanne. He collaborates with well-known conductors such as Libor Pešek, Andreas Sebastian Weiser, Jan Kučera, Gundi A. Emilsson, or Istvan Denes. He performs in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Turkey, and South Africa. He has made himself known to the Czech Republic audiences through several festivals such as Prague Spring, Dvořák's Prague, World Piano Works, Václav Hudeček's Music Festival, Talichův Beroun, and the Czech Chamber Music Association. He studied conducting in the class of prof. Leoš Svárovský and doc. Tomas Koutnik. He often performs in the dual role of conductor-pianist in grand piano concerts by J. S. Bach, W. A. Mozart, and L. van Beethoven.
